Delete Your Data

You can request deletion of some or all of your personal data without deleting your Vanderlust account. This gives you control over your information while keeping your account active.
How to Delete Your Data in the App
- Open the Vanderlust app
- Go to your Profile tab
- Tap Settings
- Tap Delete Account to remove all data, or edit your profile to remove specific information
Request Data Deletion via Email
To request deletion of specific data without deleting your account, send an email to northernlightswebas@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account. Please include "Delete My Data" in the subject line and specify which data you would like removed.
We will process your request within 30 days.
Data You Can Request to Delete
- Profile information (bio, photos, interests, rig type)
- Community posts and comments
- Chat messages
- Saved locations and routes
- Location history
Data That Cannot Be Selectively Deleted
Some data is essential for your account to function and can only be removed by deleting your account entirely:
- Your email address and core account information
Data That May Be Retained
We may retain certain data for a limited period as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as:
- Transaction and billing records (up to 12 months)
- Data necessary to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes
Want to Delete Everything?
If you want to delete all your data, you can delete your account instead. This will permanently remove all data associated with your account.
